These were at the last game of the season, it was so fun to cheer and im sad that its over.
Its officially thanksgiving break. 1 week off of school, two weeks of school, 1 month at home off of school, 3 1/2 months off of school in rexburg working and then school starts again. wow i cant believe that i am getting so old. its really hard to imagine sometimes i think that i am still like 14 and this is all just a dream.
So winter semester i wont have school so i'll be up here in rexburg working. its gonna be tough because i am not a fan of the snow at all. but i'll deal with it.
And another thing thats really hard to believe is that i only have three semesters left of college and then i'll have been in college for two years. yikes! haha that sounds funny because i've only been in college for a semester and a half but it feels like an eternity since i've been in highschool.
im really excited to go and see my family, even though i just saw them on halloween.

My life has been pretty crazy...its basically midterms and it seems like all of my projects are just adding up. haha and then i have that one crazy teacher who just gives us busy work, but i still cant believe that im already halfway through my first semester only 3 left hahaha, i wish.

But i really like school minus all of the drama, i swear sometimes it feels like im still in highschool, speaking of highschool...

i cheered at my first college football game on saturday, ok so its not your traditional football game but it was still a blast!! but alot more relaxed then highschool and definitely not as much work. i'll post some of those pictures next.

Only a month until i get to go home and visit and then when i come back to school i'll only have two weeks left of school!!! yay!! but i need to find a job.

Today i had cheered at my first college event! lol it was so fun! it was way better then highschool and we had better stunts. hahah
hmm what else has been going on in my life?
i guess not much just alot of school.
I get to cheer at a football game on saturday. haha my first one, im excited.

It was general conference sunday so what did we do?

We had a fun filled day of crafts, baking and candy making.

we only made a tiny mess compared to what happened last time we tried baking

We made vinegar taffy, which suprisingly doesnt taste like vinegar.

More Roommate Pictures

We decided to go and take pictures in the gardens. Its probably the most beautiful spot on campus. Here is just a few that we took, i like these ones the best. :)












Well anyway i hope you enjoyed the pictures. I've been pretty busy this week thats why i just got them posted, we took them last sunday (Sept. 28) but i've had alot of stuff going on with school and what-not.
Today is my mommy's birthday HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Well i guess it was technically yesterday but whatev. We also had the bishopric's daughters over today, we had like a fun little girls night. They came over from 4-9 and they are seven and eight. it was so cute. we made sugar cookies, watched enchanted and had a flour fight. Luckily i was not involved, but i did get some really cute pictures that i'll have to post soon. we also had pizza for dinner and had a big girl talk while we were eating. we talked about the boys that they liked and stuff it was really cute and then we started telling jokes.

This week cheerleading practice started, its just like old times, its really fun. Except for my flyer has plastic on the soles of her shoes and so she was cutting up my arm but it was still really fun. we got a really good picture of her doing a toe-touch in the basket toss so i'll post that too so then everyone can know what i'm talking about.
School is really stressful and it seems like i never have time to do anything but homework. But i did go to the store the other day and while we were on our way there my friend got pulled over. We were laughing so hard( she had already gotten a ticket earlier in the week) and the officer thought that we were hyperventilating,but we really just couldnt stop laughing.
My apartment is filled with drama, its like everyday we come up with more drama. its really getting annoying. girls are just so filled with drama.

so today i did my laundry and thought that i had checked all of my pockets, i was wrong. i went and put my clothes in to the dryer and my roommate took over the washer i was using. then i went to class and just didnt think anything more about my laundry. i got home and took my clother out of the dryers and brought them back up to my apartment. Like 3 seconds later my roommate comes upstairs from the laundry room and says "i think this is yours", i turn around and look, she has my debit card in her hand. apparently i had not checked all of my pockets and had washed it. oops.

OH!!! and today i found something...

so me and leslie(the one that got pulled over) were just hanging out. we went and visited some people and then we watched a movie. after the movie we decided to go for a walk. we went to a park called porter park. we saw theses girls chasing something and thought that it was just like garbage or something. but it was really a little kitten that they had found. well we saw them later in the park and they ended up leaving the cat with us. (last semester thats how we got a cat in our apartment my sister found it at the park and it followed her home) well i didn't want to take the cat home so we walked past some other girls who saw it and picked it up. so we hurried and started to walk home. and i think they ended up taking it home. haha

i think thats all for now. :)

I made it!

So i made the cheer squad!! I am now offically a BYU-I Cheerleader! woo-hoo. haha yeah but we have to go to some thing monday morning and it starts at 6 am! that doesnt excite me one bit, no sir it does not. That means that i have to get up at 4 instead of 5:30, yay me.

Im still excited to start cheering again except for the immense pain that my knee has decided to cause me and nothing is helping it feel better, but i guess thats life.

This morning i got up at 7, which is a crazy thing to do on a saturday since its my only day to sleep in, but i went to a service project. we went and cleaned the sand dunes. it was a neat experience minus the fact that i looked like an idiot hobbling around. but then they gave us lunch and a shirt and now we have more photos of us roommates looking ridiculous. but hey i got free stuff.

i don't know if i can do it! I've never done it with out my buddies

I decided to start a blog...

Hey everyone,
As most of you know I'm Rachel.
I go to BYU-I and I'm studying to be a Preschool teacher.
Its pretty exhausting but i love it.
I'm only a freshman so I've got a long way to go.
I don't know why i started a blog but i thought it would be pretty cool.

Other things about me:
-I have 5 siblings.
-I hate my curly hair.
-I'm too lazy to straighten my hair everyday,so i have to wear it curly.
-I like, OK LOVE, to text.
-I use hand sanitizer a million times a day.
-I have a problem with people touching me...i don't like it
-I hate it when people touch my hands.
-I text a lot
-When i text i usually get forget what the conversation is about.
-I'm a pretty carefree person but i stress over the simplest things.
-I have lots of different types of friends
-sometimes i can be really shy..then you get to know me
-I'm scared of a lot of things
-things have to be eaten in color order
-I always order chicken tenders and fries when i go to restaurants.
(I don't know why some don't have it. its annoying).
-I love my family but i hardly ever show it.
-I get annoyed really easily
-I like the color purple...more like love
-I hate losing, but always do.
-I wanna ride a motorcycle.
-you have to push me to get to do things, i say i don't want to, but if you tell me enough I'll just do it.
-I say i don't care what people think,in reality my life revolves around it.
-I ask "does this look OK?" followed by "are you sure"
-I laugh a lot.(especially when i don't know what to say)
-I like to quote movies.
-I love reading( Twilight is my Fave)
-I cant wait to try new things
-I love music,its about 95% of my life.
-I'm always listening to it,singing, humming or dancing to the song in my head.
-Preferably barefoot.
-I like to do old lady crafts.
-To do lists are a must...but i never get anything on them done.
-I wear purple everyday.
-I love superman.
-I love kids.
-I really really like ice cream.
